Definition

Offizineller Extrakt aus Carum carvi der Kümmelfrucht (s.u. Kümmel). 

Inhaltsstoffe

3-7% ätherisches Öl, etwa 20% fettes Öl; weiterhin Eiweiß, Lipide , Cumarine (Laribi B et al. 2010). 

Anwendungsgebiet/Verwendung

Karminativum, Spasmolytikum, Stomachikum. Gewürz in der Likörindustrie.
