Definition

Der Begriff hat nur noch historische Bedeutung und beschreibt ein Krankheitsbild, das heute als extranodales NK/T-Zell-Lymphom, nasaler Typ bezeichnet wird. Klinisch imponiert eine chronische, schwere, nekrotisierende Entzündung im Bereich von Nase und Gesichtsmitte; dies führte zwischenzeitlich zu der Bezeichnung "Lethal midline granuloma of the face".
