Akronym für “C-X-C motif chemokine 13”. CXCL-13 ist ein Protein aus 109 Aminsosäuren das als Chemoattraktant (BLC) und als B Zell-attrahierendes Chemokin 1 (BCA-1) wirksam ist. CXCL13 gehört zu der „Intercrine alpha –Familie“ auch „chemokine CXC“. Es wirkt chemotaktisch für B-Lymphozyten, nicht jedoch für T-Lymphozyten, Monozyten und Neutrophile und bindet an BLR1/CXCR5. CXCL-13 markiert follikuläre T-Zellen. CXCL13 gilt als möglicher Biomarker für den systemischen Lupus erythematodes.
